Doug and Tai will do separate postings to this blog since they will have different things to say about their adventures.

On October 12th, Tai and Doug will leave for a long awaited trip to France and Italy. We have wanted to visit our friends who have a B&B in southern France for years. Finally, the opportunity has come.

Briefly, we will leave Santa Cruz on Oct. 12th and fly to Paris. We will spend one night in Paris and then take the TGV (high speed train) to southern France. At Draguignan, our friends Nancy and Pascal will meet us. We will drive their car and a rental car to their B&B in Chasteuil. We will spend a couple of days their and then all four of us will take off for Italy.

After a stop along the Italian coast at Cinque Terra we head to Venice from Oct. 17th - 20th.

Then it's off to Tuscany where we will spend a week in Poggibonsi.

On Oct. 27th, we head back to Chasteuil for a couple of weeks.

Then on Nov. 13th, all four of us head to Paris.

Tai and Doug leave Paris on Nov. 19th and return to Santa Cruz on Nov. 20th. A total of 40 days.
